Anjhula’s paternal side hails from the erstwhile
Bais thikana of Banswara Rajasthan while the maternal side originally from Baiswara, U.P. is now settled in the the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Anjhula considers the influence that both sides have had on her immense whether it be the family crest which states “man proposes, god disposes” her classical training in kathak dance, her penchant for simplicity and elegance in dress or her love for ghazals and Urdu poetry.
Having worked as a bilingual refugee psychotherapist in London, Anjhula's present plans include her classes and post graduate research in the Social Relations Lab in the Department of Psychology at Columbia University in the City of New York,
