Anjhula Singh Bais considers her home base to be in three places America, India and London. After completing her Psychology with Philosophy degree from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, Anjhula has just completed her M.Sc. in Theoretical Psychoanalysis at University College London, University of London and plans to work a year before commencing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. An avid reader and tennis player Anjhula is also a classical violinist since age three and has played in the Chicago Youth Symphony and travelled the world. Having been spotted in front of the cinema in India, Anjhula has modelled for Banana Republic in New York, Hosted MTV international in the Dominican Republic and been an MTV television presenter in India. Simultaneously she has walked the runway in New York, London, India, Singapore and Hong Kong Fashion weeks whilst blogging exclusively for Vogue India in 'Supermodel Diaries'. In addition Anjhula has been the face of numerous prestigious campaigns besides being Model of the World Asia and Miss Teen India. Accompanying that beautiful voice that has been recorded and interviewed for radio such as the BBC etc is a keen interest in helping humanity one person at a time which witnesses Anjhula as a former World Health Organization Anti-Tobacco Ambassador, PETA ambassador and spokeswoman/volunteer for Society Creating of People Empowerment. |

The youngest of three siblings (one brother and one sister), Anjhula’s paternal side hails from the erstwhile royal family of Baiswara of Rajasthan while the maternal side is from the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Anjhula considers the influence that both sides have had on her immense whether it be the family crest which states “man proposes, god disposes” her classical training in kathak dance, her penchant for simplicity and elegance in dress or her love for ghazals and Urdu poetry.
Having worked as a bilingual refugee psychotherapist in London, Anjhula's present plans include her classes and post graduate research in the Social Relations Lab in the Department of Psychology at Columbia University in the City of New York, http://socialrelations.psych.columbia.edu/people/research-assistants writing and presenting based on psychology, complete involvement in modeling and media and supporting the Lincoln Centre area in Manhattan as a Young Women's District leader in Nichiren Buddhism.
